內政部移民署於2021年1月2日起針對外來人口配發新式統一證號

The Ministry of the Interior National Immigration Agency (the “NIA”) has started to issue new UI No. for foreign nationals since Jan. 2nd, 2021.

• 內政部移民署為建立友善外來人口環境，將現行「2碼英文＋8碼數字」外來人口統一證號，比照國民身分證號「1碼英文＋9碼數字」編碼原則改版(以下簡稱新式統號)。

To establish a friendly environment for foreign nationals, the NIA will change the UI No. format for foreign nationals from the current code to a new code consisting of one English letter followed by nine digits (hereafter referred to as “the new UI No.”), in conformity with the code used for citizens’ ID card numbers.

• 為配合內政部外來人口新式統一證號換發作業，如您留存於本行之統一證號尚未更新，您可透過下列方式辦理變更事宜：

In response to the Ministry of the Interior of the R.O.C.(Taiwan) on the policy of the replacement and issuance of the new UI No. for foreign nationals, if your UI No. kept in the Bank has not been updated, you can apply for modification via either of the following ways:

• (一)至本行網站->下載專區->資料下載->各業務申請書->存款業務項下，下載並填具「資料異動申請書 (外來人口變更新式統一證號專用)」及「兆豐國際商業銀行 客戶自我證明表-個人」，連同載有新式統一證號之證件影本，郵寄至任一分行。分行地址可至本行網站->服務據點->國內分行查詢。

Fill in the “Data Modification Application (for the change of the new UI No. for foreign nationals)” and “Self Certification Form-Individual”, which can be downloaded from the Bank’s website (https://www.megabank.com.tw) and post it to any branch of the Bank together with the copy of the certificate or instrument which contains the new UI No.. The information of branch address can be referred to the Bank’s website (https://www.megabank.com.tw).

• (二)本人親持載有新式統一證號之證件正本至本行任一分行臨櫃辦理。

Visit any branch of the Bank in person with the original of the certificate or instrument which contains the new UI No.

• 其他應注意事項

The Attentions

• (一)辦理新式統一證號變更後，您與本行約定之臨櫃取款密碼及持有之金融卡、信用卡皆可繼續使用，無須重新變更及換發。

The change of the new UI No. will not affect the use of your account withdrawal password which you have agreed with the Bank and of the ATM Card and Credit Card you have held.

• (二)已申辦理財往來或特定金錢信託業務之客戶，請洽分行另以新式統一證號重新辦理投資屬性評估作業；並請注意信託投資商品約定入/扣款帳號須一併完成統一證號變更作業後，始得以新式統一證號辦理申購等交易。如有信託餘額者，須俟本行完成資料移轉作業後，始得以新式統一證號辦理贖回。

Customers who have applied for wealth management business or non-discretionary money trust business shall contact any branch of the Bank to Re-evaluate Investment Attributes. Please note that you may not apply for any subscription or other transactions with the new UI No. until the UI No. of the agreed deposit/debit account for trust investments has been also changed. The trust balance may not be redeemed with the new UI No. until the conversion of data has been completed by the Bank.

• (三) 如您已申請個人網路銀行(含行動銀行)，於您收到本行通知變更為新式統一證號當日，即可於個人網路銀行或行動銀行首頁登入使用。倘您原先已申請行動安全碼，仍需於行動銀行App內重新申請；若您前已申請e碼寶貝，統一證號更新後將無法使用，您可於行動裝置下載本行行動銀行，於行動銀行內申請行動安全碼作為安控驗證機制。

If you have applied for the service of Internet Banking (including the Bank's Mobile Banking App), when receiving the Bank’s notification that the new UI No. has been changed, you can log in the Internet Banking or Mobile Banking App with the new UI No. If you have already applied for the service of Mobile OTP, you need to log in to the Mobile Banking App to re-apply for the Mobile OTP；if you have already applied for the E-Token, it will be unavailable after the new UI No. becomes effective. You may download the Mobile bank of The Bank on your mobile device, and apply for the Mobile OTP as a transcation verification mechanism.

• (四)為保障您的權益，如您的帳戶已約定入扣帳（例如信用卡扣款、薪資入帳及所得稅申報之繳退稅作業等），請您確認相關單位已變更為新式統一證號，以免影響入扣帳作業。

In order to protect your rights and interests, if you have agreed with the Bank on the direct debit/credit of your account (such as credit card deduction, payroll transfers, and tax payment/refund for income tax declaration, etc.), please confirm that it has been changed to the new UI No. by the relevant entity, so as not to affect the operation of the direct debit/credit.
