    • Valid passport or an Identification Certificate for Overseas Chinese issued by the Overseas Community Affairs Council
    • Uniform ID Number issued by the National Immigration Agency (NIA)

Important Notice:
  • In accordance with FATCA and CRS regulations, your Tax Identification Number (TIN) is required.
  • Additional documents may be requested for KYC/AML purposes.
  • The Bank reserves the right of final approval for all account opening and related service applications.

Designated Account Transfer Service
  • Set up a designated transfer account for your ATM card
    Designated transfer account details:
    • Bank name and branch
    • Account number
  • Set up a designated transfer account for your Internet & Mobile banking
    Designated transfer account details:
    • For TWD transfer:
      • Bank name and branch
      • Account number
      • Beneficiary name
    • For foreign currency transfer:
      • SWIFT code
      • Bank name and branch

Credit Card
  • Copy of both sides of the ARC
  • Copy of passport
  • Proof of financial capability (e.g., salary statements, withholding tax statements, proof of salary deposits, time deposits, demand deposits, or other local financial proof documents)
  • A Taiwanese guarantor or a pledged time deposit as collateral with our bank (Not required for holders of an Employment Gold Card.)
Investment and Wealth Management
  • For Original ARC Holders
    • Original ARC
    • Original secondary identification (e.g., passport, NHI card, etc.)
  • For Applicants without an ARC
    • Passport bearing a valid visa (or entry stamp) for legal entry or Overseas Compatriot Identity Certificate issued by the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC)
    • R.O.C. (Taiwan) UI No. Basic Information Form
Important Notice:
  • Applicants must hold an account with our bank (account opening can be processed simultaneously).
  • Services provided to foreign clients, subject to applicable domestic and international regulations and product requirements, include bonds, structured products, mutual funds, and overseas stocks and ETFs trading services, as well as insurance solutions.
  • The Bank does not provide the specific money trust service to applicants without an ARC.
Automatic Bill Payments

Important Notice:
  • Applicants must hold a TWD account with our bank.
  • Applications submitted via online banking are limited to electricity, water, telecommunications, and gas bills.
  • You have applied to authorize the Bank to automatically pay the bills listed in the application form. The service will commence only after the Bank has completed the necessary arrangements with the respective billing institutions. Until then, you are required to settle your bills as usual.
