Foreigner (individual)
- Alien residence permit, or Taiwan residence permit and passport
- Foreign passport bearing legal entry visa (or stamp) or identification certificate for overseas Chinese issued by Overseas Compatriot Affairs Commission(for those who have no alien resident certificate or Taiwan resident certificate), and the "Record of ID No. in the Republic of China"
- An immigration permit issued by the National Immigration Agency (for mainland residents without residence permit), the "Record of ID No. in the Republic of China" and valid passport
Company
- Company registration certificate
- Minutes of Board of Directors’ meetings or articles of incorporation or financial statement
- Certificate showing authorization granted by the head office of the company for opening an account by the company’s branch
- Responsible person’s ID card and secondary certificates
Firm
- Profit-making business registration
- Responsible person’s ID card and secondary certificates
Other groups
- Registration certificate/license granted by competent authority, or documents for approval of incorporation or registration
- Responsible person’s ID card and secondary certificates
Foreign corporation
- Certificate of corporation
- Responsible person’s ID certificates
- Power of attorney issued by the corporation to its representative or agent in the territory of Taiwan, and uniform invoice number granted by the national tax administration
