- Reason for Establishment：Ta Khmau subbranch is the fifth branch under Mega International Commercial Bank Phnom Penh Branch. Located in Ta Khmau, the capital of Kandal Province, it becomes the first Taiwanese bank to establish a presence in Ta Khmau. This subbranch is primarily focused on expanding outbound investment from Phnom Penh. With increasing population mobility between the two regions, Ta Khmau will accommodate a growing influx of rural residents from other provinces and factories relocating from Phnom Penh. Furthermore, the expansion of the national highway connecting to Vietnam, the development of the Special Economic Zone, and the recent opening of Phnom Penh Techo International Airport on September 9, 2025 are also significant. To capitalize on the city's development opportunities, the establishment of the Ta Khmau subbranch will help expand the Bank's service network and provide high-quality financial services to local customers and Taiwanese businesses.
