Labuan, an island located off the coast of the State of Sabah (East Malaysia), was inaugurated as an International Offshore Financial Centre (IOFC) on 1 October 1990. As an IOFC, Labuan offers a wide and integrated range of offshore financial services, such as offshore banking, offshore insurance, leasing, and fund management, etc., to customers worldwide.
